Pork Chops with a Crunchy Honey Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 6 Pork Loin Chops, trimmed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 tbsp water
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground sage
- 1 ½ tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp Thyme
Sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, freshly minced
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Honey
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl mix together the flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg, ginger, sage, thyme and cayenne pepper with the paprika and whisk well.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and add water and stir together
- Dip each pork chop in the flour mixture and then into the egg mix, and once more into the flour mix.
- Press down to be sure the flour and spices adhere to the egg wash.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with 2 tbsp of Canola Oil
- Fry the pork chops for 5 to 6 minutes per side
- Drain on a wire rack
- In a bowl combine the minced garlic, Olive Oil, honey, soy sauce and pepper
- Mix well to be assured that it is all blended
- Once drained of excess grease, dip each pork chop into the Garlic and Honey sauce
- Place on a plate and serve with your favorite side dish.
