Million Dollar Lasagna
Ingredients
For the Meat Sauce:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, diced

- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

For the Creamy Cheese Layer:

- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Pasta Layer:
- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained (or use no-boil noodles)
Directions
1️⃣ Prepare the Meat Sauce
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, sauté until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2️⃣ Make the Creamy Cheese Mixture
- In a bowl, mix together:
- Ricotta cheese
- Cream cheese
- Sour cream
- Egg
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
Assemble the Lasagna
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer 1: Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.ADVERTISEMENT
- Layer 2: Place 3–4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Layer 3: Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture over the noodles.
- Layer 4: Top with more meat sauce.
- Repeat layers twice more, ending with noodles and remaining meat sauce.
- Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
Bake It
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
