Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs Recipe

Ingredients

  •  2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  •  ¼ cup honey
  •  ¼ cup soy sauce
  •  3 tbsp brown sugarADVERTISEMENT
  •  4 cloves garlic, minced
  •  1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  •  1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice (for balance)
  •  1 tbsp butter (for gloss)

 Instructions

1. Prepare the Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).ADVERTISEMENT
  2. Remove silver skin from the ribs, then cut into individual pieces.
  3. Place ribs in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 1½ hours until tender.

2. Make the Sticky Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, vinegar, and chili flakes.
  2. Simmer over medium heat until thickened, about 6–8 minutes.ADVERTISEMENT
  3. Stir in butter at the end for shine.

3. Glaze & Broil

  1. Remove ribs from the oven and coat with sauce.
  2. Return to oven under the broiler for 5–7 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
  3. Flip once and glaze again if desired.
