Condensed Milk Cake
🍰 Condensed Milk Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can (14 oz / 400g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup (120ml) milk
- ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23cm) round or square cake pan, or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with an electric mixer or whisk until slightly frothy (about 2 minutes).
- Add the condensed milk, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Optional Add-ins or Toppings:
- Dust with powdered sugar
- Serve with whipped cream or fruit
- Add lemon zest or a splash of rum for extra flavor
