Brown Sugar Italian Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing seasoning mix
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup chicken broth
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish lightly or line it with foil for easier cleanup.
Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the baking dish.
Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, Italian dressing seasoning mix, melted butter, and chicken broth until combined.
Coat Chicken: Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the sauce is caramelized.
Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon the sauce over the chicken for extra flavor.
