Okra Water For Glowing Skin
Ingredients Required
- 4–5 fresh okra pods
- 3–4 cloves (laung)
- 1 small cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp cinnamon powder)
- 1½ cups filtered water
- Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice or honey for taste
Why This Drink Works
- Okra is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, and mucilage that hydrate skin, reduce inflammation, and flush out toxins.
- Cloves have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that fight skin breakouts and support clearer skin.
- Cinnamon improves blood circulation, supports collagen production, and helps regulate sugar spikes (which can cause acne).
How to Make Okra Water

- Cover and let it soak overnight (8–12 hours) at room temperature.
- In the morning, strain the water into a glass.

Method 2: Quick Boil
- Add 4–5 chopped okra pods, 3 cloves, and 1 small cinnamon stick to 1½ cups of water.
